Research experience

Research Technician at the Hausen group (Evolution of cell types) (2014)

Sars International Centre for Marine Molecular Biology, Bergen, Norway

Work combining analysis of the expression of genes with electron microscopy and functional studies. Added to this is the breeding of individuals used in the experiments and support researchers in their experiences.

Master degree's Internship in Oceanography (2013)

Institute of Marine Research, Bergen, Norway

Data processing in the Master's Degree internship entitled: "Fish communities off Northern Norway: environmental relationships, habitat preferences and effects of fishing" at the Institute of Marine Research, Bergen. Work including: identification of fish species of the North-East Atlantic, statistical analyses (both univariate and multivariate such as Detrended Correspondence Analysis and Canonical Correspondence Analysis) and fishing impact assessment using Vessels Monitoring Survey data.

Master degree's Internship in Oceanography (2011/2012)

Institute of Marine Research, Bergen, Norway

Data processing in the internship entitled: "Habitat preferences of demersal fish off Northern Norway" at the Institute of Marine Research, Bergen. Work including: identification of fish species of the North-East Atlantic, statistical analysis (both univariate and multivariate such as Detrended Correspondence Analysis and Correlation analyses using the PC-Ordi and R softwares).

Benthic faunistic sorting (2010-2012)

ECOMAR, St-Denis, La Réunion

Benthic sorting and macrofauna/infauna identification at the ECOMAR Laboratory.

Research Interest:

Fisheries management and ecology, anthropogenically indiced evolution, Climate changes influence on the distrubution/dispersal of commercially relevent marine species, Polar marine ecology, Cold water fish's adaptations, Deep sea environments, Cold water Corals reefs, marine ecosystems modeling, data analysis, scientific communication.
