Ice camp in Allen Bay (Nunavut): life on the ice camp. Sampling of biological and chemical variables in the water column with Niskin bottles and in the ice with manual ice corers. Realization of experiments during 24h to show the impact of a sudden increase of light on the DMSP production by ice algae and phytoplankton present in the water mass under the ice.

May and June 2010       Ice camp at the edge of Resolute Passage (Nunavut): participation at the installation and uninstallation of camp. Realization of Conductivity Temperature Depth (CTD) profiles. Sampling of biological and chemical variables in the water column with Niskin bottles and in the ice with manual ice corers. Realization of short incubations under the ice. Analysis of Chlorophyll a and CDOM/CPOM (Color Dissolved/Particular Organic Matter).

8 February 2010              Ice camp in the fjord of Saguenay (Québec, 1 week): realization of ice cores, acquisition of PAR data at the surface and under the ice. Utilization of the software Seabird for the CTD data.

July 2008                            Mission on the icebreaker Amundsen (CGSS): Sampling of zooplankton and larvae of Arctic cod using a Monster and a VTOW net. Counting of larvae and zooplankton.

Summer 2008                  Mission SOGIR (Estuary of Gironde, 1 week) ; 2 missions ARCADINO (Gascogne Gulf, 1 week/mission) and monitoring SOARC (Bassin of Arcachon, 1 day/2 weeks) : sampling of the water column for the chemical and biological variables, CTD profiles, filtrations, and analysis in laboratory (Chl a, NH4, nutrients).

September 2007             Mission on the Coriolis II (3 days): utilization of a benne Van Veen, plankton net, box core, rosette, CTD sensor and ADCP.
