Research interests

My main interest is the rapid effect of climate change on biological and biogeochemical processes in the Arctic Ocean. More specifically, my interests are to investigate changes in the magnitude and timing of phytoplankton blooms, sea ice algae release, ontogenic migration of zooplankton, and export of biogenic matter using sediment traps deployed in the Arctic Ocean.
